My Active Summer Challenge 2020

Last year I launched my Active Summer Challenge because I wanted to try and inspire and motivate people, especially busy Mums and Dads, to keep running and exercising over the hectic school summer holidays.

The photos above are just a few of those that you can view on the #lauraellenjactivesummer tag on social media. The photos show friends, families, children and even dogs! They show lots of smiling, laughing, running, cycling,  dancing… people being active, having fun and encouraging others to do the same.

I never imagined the challenge would attract the attention it did nor that it would have such a profound effect on so many people. I know it helped because so many of you took the time to tell me. I am so incredibly grateful for all your feedback and messages, they’ll help me to make the 2020 challenge even better! 

You absolutely do not have to be a parent to be involved, their are NO entry requirements for this challenge. All I ask is that you commit to a minimum of 20 minutes of exercise per day, for 6 weeks… starting Monday 20th July.

It can be a run, a swim, a brisk walk with the children or a gym session. I’ll provide you with a chart to record your efforts, I’ll also post mini home workouts on my social media platforms, which you can do in 20 minutes if you can’t get to the gym or go for a run.

Now more than ever, motivation might be waning a little, particularly if you’re a runner who has had all their events cancelled. I promise I’ll support you, my ambassadors will support you, we’ll encourage each other and we’ll share our successes. There won’t be any charge. All you need to do is sign up below.
