Pic. 2. How my weekend has looked 🤯 those of you that know me, will already know that I’m right at the crunch point of my nutrition studies.

I haven’t worked this hard for years. I’ve read hundreds of papers, written pages upon pages of notes. Rewatched key lectures and done revision quizzes till they’re coming out of my ears.
.
When I realised the girls were not going to be at school for my two week exam period I did have a bit of a panic... but, I’ve pulled myself together, because... well when does anything ever go perfectly to plan in life?!
.
I’ve adapted, I’ve done a few hours in the morning before the girls wake and I’ve spent most of this weekend locked in the bedroom whilst hubby has occupied the girls.
.
It was a huge relief to receive an email this week from @martinnutrition informing us that we could have a bit longer to complete our final exams - he understands these are challenging times for us all. Testament to the fact that he and everyone at @macnutrition really care about their students and this tired Mummy is really grateful ♥️
.
I’ve worked too hard to fall at this final hurdle. I’ll juggle like a boss, get my exams done... and I literally can’t wait to update my bio when I qualify.

Those rainbow legs should be 3 hours into my first ultra right now. Yes I’ve had a little mope and a few tears about it, but now I choose to get back to being positive.

My Grandma used to call me Sunshine ☀️

She’s in heaven now (I’m not particularly religious but she was and I’m telling you, she’s definitely in heaven). So when someone calls me Sunshine it makes my face look like this ⬆️

Today has been a good day. I know I speak for all of us when I say thank goodness for this weather.
.
Being proactive and positive is a massive help - lots of work to do once the girls are in bed on plans for my fabulous team ♥️
.
If being on lockdown and having races cancelled has left you feeling a bit lost in terms of exercise, drop me a message. You can always join the team for a month or two - there’s no ongoing commitment if you want to leave once the world returns to normal ♥️
.
The girls and I ate lunch in the sun today and Lily said “it’s a bit like being on holiday Mummy” - that lifted the weight on my shoulders considerably. If my girls are happy, I’m happy.
.
A dog walk up the hill for my daily exercise - tomorrow evening I’ll run for my sunset together virtual run - details on my earlier post if you’d like to be involved.

Big thank you to everyone who’s checked in on me, supported my competition, sent me ideas of ways to keep my little business afloat and just generally been kind. I am more grateful than I can say and I will pay all your kindness back with interest I promise.
